Let me just start by saying that my seven year old son loves LEGO's®. They’re everywhere, even in the vacuum cleaner bag. (Oops!) We're actually in the process of finishing this beauty:
Only 3803 LEGO's® to add to his collection. (Only?)
Needless to say we're in desperate need of a LEGO® storage solution! Thanks to Ana over at Knock Off Wood, I found it. A Rolling Cubby
I used Ana's wonderful plans and added some much needed building space to come up with this.
I purchased the LEGO® building plates for $4.99 each, and the blue storage containers at my local Target for $6.99 each. I attached the building plates to the cubbies using gel epoxy that I found at Home Depot.
I really enjoyed building this, it was much easier than I thought. This was the first time I ever used a table saw. My mother doesn't believe me but all my husband did was screw on the wheels. Thank you to Ana for the inspiration and very easy to understand plans! I'm already trying to pick out what I want to build next! (No need to clean up just yet!)

I LOVE this! How smart, a rolling lego center! And I LOVE the red!
